Plans change, and Rexabook is built around that being normal - a customer canceling or moving their own appointment shouldn’t need a phone call to you.
Self-serve cancel and reschedule
A customer can cancel or reschedule directly from their confirmation email or text, with no account or login needed. They pick a new time from your real availability, the same way they booked originally, and both your calendar and theirs update immediately.
Your cancellation policy
When you connect Rexabook Payments, a cancellation policy is generated for you during setup - how much notice counts as “on time” versus a late cancellation. You can adjust it afterwards from Payments → Cancellation policy.
Late cancellations and Card Protection
If a customer cancels inside your policy’s notice window, or doesn’t show up at all, Card Protection lets you charge a fee against the card they saved at booking - automatically, no chasing. See Reducing no-shows with reminders and Card Protection for how that’s set up per service.
Changing a booking as the owner
You can cancel or move a customer’s appointment from your calendar too - useful if you’re sick, running behind, or need to free up a slot. Rexabook sends the customer a notification either way, so they’re never left checking a page that’s quietly changed underneath them.
