Rexabook Payments doesn’t charge a subscription just to take payments - it’s free to enable on every plan. Three small, always-itemized things apply per transaction instead, so it’s worth knowing what each one actually pays for.
The booking fee
A small amount the customer pays on top of your price - a few pence or cents, calibrated to your country. This is what funds the text message confirmations and reminders that go out around every booking, so it scales with how much you’re actually texting, not with how much you charge for the service itself.
The platform fee
A small percentage of the service price - Rexabook’s own cut for running the booking page, the calendar, Card Protection, and everything else in the platform. It’s shown to the customer up front at checkout, never quietly taken out of your payout afterwards.
Stripe’s processing rate
Everything else goes to Stripe’s standard card processing rate, the same rate any card payment anywhere is subject to - Rexabook doesn’t add anything on top of it or take a cut of it.
Why there’s no monthly fee on Free or Pay As You Go
On Free, the booking fee is what replaces a subscription entirely - you pay nothing to use the platform. On Pay As You Go, there’s no booking fee (payment happens in person), but a small per-booking fee is collected from a card on file instead, in place of both a subscription and an online booking fee.
Where to see your fees
Every transaction’s breakdown - your price, the booking fee, the platform fee - is visible from Payments → Transactions, and again in the payout itself from your Stripe dashboard.
