Two-way texting with clients

Replying to a client's text, and where those conversations live in your dashboard.

  2. Replying
  3. What it’s good for
  4. Consent still applies

Confirmations and reminders go out automatically, but clients reply to them like any other text - and those replies land somewhere you can actually see and answer them.

Where replies show up

When a client replies to a confirmation or reminder, it appears against that booking in your dashboard under Bookings → [booking] → Messages, so the conversation stays attached to the appointment it’s about rather than floating in a general inbox.

Replying

Reply from the same screen, and it sends as a text to the number the client booked with. There’s no need to look up their number separately or leave Rexabook to do it.

What it’s good for

Quick, booking-specific back-and-forth - confirming they’re running five minutes late, checking whether they need to bring anything, answering a last-minute question. It isn’t a full marketing or broadcast inbox; for messaging across many clients at once, an intake form or your profile page’s FAQ is usually a better fit than one-to-one texting.

A reply thread only exists because the client already has an active booking with you, so the same consent that covers their confirmations and reminders covers this. See SMS compliance in the US if you’re texting customers in the US specifically.
