In this guide
Adding someone to your team doesn’t hand them the whole business - staff and the account owner see genuinely different dashboards, scoped to what each one actually needs.
The account owner
Whoever created the Rexabook account is the owner, and only the owner can see billing, plan and add-on settings, and every staff member’s calendar and client list at once. There’s one owner per account.
What a staff member sees
A staff member logs into their own view: their own calendar, the bookings assigned to them, and the clients they’ve served. They don’t see other staff members’ calendars, the business’s billing, or account-wide settings like the cancellation policy.
What only the owner can do
Adding or removing staff, connecting Rexabook Payments, changing plan, and editing business-wide settings like opening hours and locations are all owner-only. A staff member working their own calendar day to day never needs to touch any of it.
Why it’s split this way
It’s the same boundary as a shop with an owner and staff on the floor: everyone needs their own diary to do their job, but not everyone needs the keys to the till or the lease. Scoping the dashboard this way means you can add staff without handing over control of the business alongside their calendar.
